Locate Installed SW Train Version
Step 2
Check that your SW Train Version looks like one of these examples:
- MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0xxxT
- MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0xxxT
- MST2_EU_VW_PxxxxD
- MST2_EU_VW_ExxxxD
- MST2_EU_VW_KxxxxD
Where x can be any digit.
Step 3
Check the number of SD card slots on your headunit:
- If your unit (with navigation) has 2 SD card slots — compatible ✅
- If your unit has 1 SD card slot — not compatible ❌
If you have 1 slot but your infotainment has the App-Connect function, and your software version ends with the letter D, then this SD card will work.

Once activated, the SD card becomes permanently linked to your vehicle’s headunit and cannot be reused or returned. Please verify compatibility before purchase or contact us for assistance.

I had ordered Car Map update for my VW and Android Auto activation.
The day after I was contacted by David for me to check a detail on my car to make 100% sure that it was compatible with the Android Auto Activation card. This was a Saturday and there they were making sure the customer had the best service.
Sadly it wasn't, but I still got the map update. I replied on saturday evening and had a confirmation feom david on the sunday. By Tuesday I had my refund and by wednesday I had my car map SD card, that worked as described.
