Easy updatei
I decided to purchase the sd card due to the failed downloads from the Skoda portal. It started updating immediately got to 100% and said error occurred please reinsert the card, this time it got to 82% which obviously corrected the initial error as all updates were installed and working perfectly. Why waste hours downloading from the portal when it can be done with the card in less than 1 hour, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Skoda Kodiaq Columbus map update
Needed to update the sat nav on my new (to me) 2020 Skoda Kodiaq with a Columbus headset, it hadn’t been updated since 2020. I just inserted the SD card into the slot in the head unit, system recognised the available map update and prompted to update. Took about 45 minutes to complete the update. Very pleased with the overall result , now have a 2025 set of maps for the whole of europe

Ease of use and technical upgrade.
Excellent item. SD card arrived by sign delivery. Just slotted in the SD card into the unit located within the dashboard & followed the instructions on the screen. Took about 30mins to complete update of maps to 24/25 version.

It worked ok
It seems to have worked ok, different lettrs on dateline but it installed ok. How accurate the road maps and speeds limits are, HOPEFULLY better than the last update details. Some speed limits and roads were over two years out of date so redirections could be bad. I do not take these updates as gospel. They are a help but it is always a chance of being incorrect, always take notice of speed signs do never rely on your sat nav being accurate. I have not be able to check accuracy yet as vehicle is off road for servicing.

Great purchase.
Asked with Skoda how much for the update and it was a silly amount. Tried twice to download the relevant info onto a 128GB SD card but this was not read properly in the car. Purchased this card and though it took two tries, it did the download very well, and took around 50 mins. Very pleased and will come back sometime for a further update. Skoda Karoq 2018
