You can easily find out which CIC map type you currently have by pressing button ‘Nav’ on iDrive, then select ‘Options’, and click ‘Navigation System Version’ where you will see something like : "ECE BMW 1.5.20 Road Map Europe PREMIUM 2009-2"

Once you have made a purchase, please send us a photo of the map version of your sat nav via email. Without this information, we won't be able to dispatch your order. 

If your car has Premium but is made before 03/2010 you will need a firmware update from BMW to be able to update using USB stick.
