You can easily find out which CIC/NBT map type you currently have by pressing button ‘Nav’ on iDrive, then select ‘Options’, and click ‘Navigation System Version’ where you will see something like: "Road Map Europe NEXT 2013-2"

Simple update to your SatNav maps
Really pleased with the map update service. I should have done this a few years earlier! The USB stick didn’t download to my BMW after the code was entered, but the next time I started the car it transferred the data and maps were updated in about 25minutes. David was very helpful throughout.
