How do I check if my car is compatible?

Step 1
Hold NAV up and RADIO down together for at least 5 seconds.
Select Version Information

Step 2
If your Current Version looks like this, it's compatible (where x is any digit/character):

• MHI2_ER_AU43x_xxxxx
• MHI2_ER_AUG24_xxxxx

PLEASE NOTE: if you have an early model of TT (2015-2016) your Virtual cockpit screen is unable to show the CarPlay/Android Auto menu option/tab. This is a limitation of the early model hardware fitted and to access the feature once installed requires connecting/disconnecting the USB cable each time and/or utilising the voice command button on the steering wheel to activate Siri.

Its possible you may need to make some coding changes so the navigation will display on the virtual cockpit screen. These  simple changes that can be done with VCDS/OBD11 or similar tools. We supply all the instructions required to achieve this if necessary.
If you car is already equipped with navigation then this is not required
