- Hold NAV up and RADIO down together for 5 seconds.
- Select Version Information.

❗ Important Notes:
Early TT models (2014–2016) cannot display the CarPlay/Android Auto menu tab on the Virtual Cockpit. You can still use the feature by connecting/disconnecting the USB cable or using the voice command button to launch Siri / Google Assistant.
Some coding (via VCDS/OBD11) may be required to show Navigation on the Virtual Cockpit — instructions are included if necessary. If your car already has factory Navigation, no additional coding is needed.

Absolute wow! New car feeling!
Found the website online and decided to take a chance.
Ordered Friday, delivered Saturday with two SD cards (one for activation, one for the update). It took around 1-2 hours working out how to install. Found an instructional video on YouTube (I’m a complete novice!). To my surprise, it all installed perfectly, and now I have full Apple CarPlay on my 2016 TT. The update includes being able to use the Sat nav from my phone on the dashboard which is a BIG plus!
While my car is over 4 years old now, this new update has given it a ‘brand new’ feeling! Thank you for such a great experience - loving it 100% :).

Apple CarPlay. Worked well for my Audi TT (2019).

Worked like a charm
Tip for anyone else who buys this, make sure you go into the red engineering menu before inserting the SD card. When I inserted the SD card first it didn't load the menu properly. Other than that it was a very simple process just make sure you follow the instructions exactly and be patient with the update. I now have Android Auto in my TT at a significantly lower cost than Audi would have charged, so I'm very pleased!
