How to check the software version:
TT / R8 / A4 / A5 / Q2 / Q5 / Q7/ A3
-Enter in the RED Engineering menu by holding NAV in the up position + RADIO in the down position at the same time for approximately 5 seconds and release.
-Select “Version Information”
A6 / A7
-Hold the TOP LEFT + RETURN buttons at same time for approx 5 seconds and release
-Select “Version Information”
-You can close the engineering menu using the same button combination

Its possible you may need to make some coding changes so the navigation will display on the virtual cockpit screen. These simple changes that can be done with VCDS/OBD11 or similar tools. We supply all the instructions required to achieve this if necessary.
If you car is already equipped with navigation then this is not required.
