This navigation update is copy-protected for COMAND Online. To play the latest map data a six-figure activation code is required. Each activation code represents a licence to use the map data in a single vehicle and is exclusively valid for a specific combination of vehicle, COMAND Online and map version.

This is the European map install set for NTG4.5 & 4.7 vehicles (i.e vehicles in the list below with COMAND which have an SD-Card slot on the front)
When installing a new map on NTG4.5 (W204/R172 MY2011, W207/W212/W166 with SD card, USB onward) a PIN code is needed. It is the PIN code that is the licence for the map, thus preventing fraudulent repeat installation of a map disk on many vehicles.

This special order item is for the map and a PIN code for European maps.

The PIN code is tied to the vehicle VIN and to the exact map version. If you get the wrong VIN, the PIN code will not work, and we will NOT be able to refund you as we will have already obtained the PIN code.
